also know as the Catedral Metropolitano de Sao Paulo, it ls located in the Praca da Se. Construction on this magnificent church started in 1589 and ended in 1616. Check Wikipedia for a great write up on it. "Se" stands for Sedes Episcopalis, it a statement of power from old Portuguese in reference to the Catholic Church. As we state in the video there are a lot of Praca de Ses - throughout Brazil and Portugual. They typically represent the center of the city and mark the "Zero Point" where all things are measured from.
